From: INRA collection (Angers), n°1624.

Origin: USA, around 1750 on the farm of Captain Benjamin Williams in Roxbury (Massachussets).

Description : fruit is medium, irregular in shape, almost ribbed; skin is pale yellow, pink flushed, with a lot of pink and red streaks; flesh is white, sweet and aromatic.
Very pleasant early apple to be picked during the end part of july. Keeps poorly.
